Graduating in 2011, Dr. Sithumini Edirimanne brings over a decade of diverse clinical experience, shaped by her work across hospitals, outpatient care, and women’s health services. Her gentle, thorough, and patient-focused approach has earned her the trust of many individuals and families.
Her early work involved conducting detailed medical assessments for foreign job seekers and athletes, issuing fitness certifications, managing EMR systems, and playing a role in community health education.
Dr. Sithumini’s hospital experience spans several critical departments—ICU, Emergency and Primary Medical Care, OPD, and Coronary Care—where she developed clinical precision and confidence in high-pressure settings.
Her commitment to early-life care saw her contribute meaningfully in the Premature Baby Unit and Neonatal ICU, and she later provided guidance to new families through postnatal well-baby clinics.
Deeply passionate about women’s health, Dr. Sithumini has delivered care through gynaecology wards and public health services, conducting well-woman and family planning clinics, IUCD insertions, Pap smears, and reproductive health counselling.
